"Resist Nothing." That right there is one of the most important phrases in my life, and has become a major influence over how I approach most situations in my life after reading about it on High Existance. Recently however I was hurt because I didn't stick to my own ideals.
I have a friend who for all intents and purposes was just not a good presence in my life but I resisted what I already knew and thought that showing her selfless love was the best course of action, this love I gave her was ultimately used to manipulate me although it probably wasn't on purpose on her part.
This ordeal taught me something though that all love you give to another person that does not emanate from a deeper part of you will ultimately end in pain for either one or both of the parties involved. Stop forcing your love on anyone because it's what you THINK you should do and just accept them for what they are, warts and all. Only then will your love bubble through to the surface and even if it's not a not a great deal of love it's genuine and that's all what anyone really wants and you can give it to anyone and everyone, but only if you're aware enough and willing to accept them for who they (or rather what you think) they are.
Anyways I don't know why this post manifested in YOUR reality, but I'm humbled and grateful that it did. As usual drop me a comment and let me know what you think or email me if you want me to answer your questions and perhaps offer you advice at: madalahamunyela@gmail.com
